With restrictions on the Freedom Pass, the elderly will struggle to go shopping

‘How do TfL think elderly people are going to travel to do their shopping?’
• TRANSPORT for London decided the older person’s Freedom Pass can’t be used before 9am from Monday.
Supermarkets have dedicated early mornings as safe shopping times for older customers, Sainsbury’s from 8am to 9am, Tesco from 9am and so on.
How do TfL think elderly people are going to travel to do their shopping? Is the Mayor of London going to ask the shops to change their policy?
