• A NEW housing development in Centric Close, NW1, will use Smart meters. Do we need them? Do we want them?

Utility companies around the world are replacing electric, gas and water analogue meters with pulsed radiation smart meter networks, which are costing us money, privacy, and our health and safety.

Smart meters are a rip-off by the companies to pay for fewer workers, and to surreptitiously charge higher payments, thus enabling them to procure higher profits.

Smart meters enable our utility grid to be turned off or hacked at whim. And there are now known adverse health effects from these smart meters, as well as the fact that they can even cause fires.

These smart meters will be installed in Centric Close’s new housing development. If you live close by, please make a unanimous and concerted effort to make Camden Council’s planning department stop these smart meters from being installed.

It’s bad enough that the residents in what is a conservation area in Oval Road, have to suffer two years of major construction, let alone the loss of their skyline.

In a year’s time they will also have to risk suffering the dangerous effects of rows and rows of smart meters.
