Recent 35,000-strong ‘Unite Freedom’ Trafalgar Square protests

• WE are now being threatened with deployment of the military if we continue to flout these ever-changing rules.

Prime minister Boris Johnson even stoops so low as to warn “your mild cough can be someone else’s death knell”. How’s that going to fare for those who catch the common cold this winter?

But could these latest draconian measures be more a knee-jerk reaction to the two recent 35,000-strong “Unite Freedom” Trafalgar Square protests against the imminent renewal of the coronavirus bill?

The government cannot blame the huge gatherings for the spikes because they were not allowed to be reported on television.
