• GENUINE question: what is the point of having trees on our streets when they nearly all look like this? They serve no purpose as far as I can see.

Birds can’t nest and they provide no filtration of CO2 to oxygen and presumably cost a fortune as they are butchered almost monthly.

I love trees (we all do surely) but these are large sticks with no function any more. It’s a crying shame.
