• WHAT hypocrisy… prime minister Rishi Sunak has just appointed Grant Shapps as “Secretary of State for the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.”

They obviously haven’t looked at the catastrophic environmental damage their £160billion High Speed 2 project is doing to the environment, wildlife and our ecosystems.

They ought to be honest and scrap it!
