• THANKS to the editor for publishing article about the resistance to the Nazis led by Marek Edelman in 1942 in the Warsaw Ghetto (Ghetto blasters: when Warsaw fought back, Review, June 19).

We note that “Marek had been a leader of the Bund, a Jewish socialist party in Poland”. We should welcome more information about the Bund.
