E-scooter

Curb the e-scooters

• WHY do a number of people on electric scooters and bikes insist on using them on the pavement, swerving in between pedestrians at a fast speed? Even when some roads are practically empty, this still happens.

I was waiting for a bus in Adelaide Road, Primrose Hill, very early on Tuesday morning. I saw the bus approaching and, just as I stood up, a person on an e-scooter suddenly went past at breakneck speed. I jumped as I got a fright and my heart was racing.

If I had got up a second sooner that could have resulted in a serious accident or even a fatality. This is happening way too much now and the council really does need to do something.
