The way the Church of England treats women priests is also wholly unacceptable

• THE headline on the review by the Reverend Prebendary Marjorie Brown, on the discrimination averred by the author of Ghost Ship: Institutional Racism in the Church of England (Review, August 13) was ‘Holy unacceptable’.
Women priests receive the same treatment from some quarters of the Church.
Those male priests so discriminating are protected by a like-minded bishop, known as a “flying bishop” when their diocese bishop supports women’s ordination.
Wholly unacceptable in the 21st century from any quarter, particularly a faith institution.
