TITLE-CHASING Camden Town WFC return to action in the Premier Division of the Greater London Women’s League this Sunday when they welcome Comets to the Maurice Rebak Stadium in North Finchley.
The Town players will be raring to go after their opening fixture of 2025 away to local rivals Camden & Islington United was postponed.
Urging fans to show their support, club chairman Richard Mahoney said: “As we kick-off our first home game of 2025, the excitement within the team is palpable.
“The players have been in fantastic form recently, and with two games in hand and just four points off the top of the league, we know how crucial every match is.
“Facing the Comets is always a challenge, they’re a tough side, and while we managed to edge a 2-1 victory against them earlier in the season, we won’t be taking anything for granted. The team has been training hard and is ready to give everything on the pitch.
“We would love to see a big turnout from our supporters this weekend. Their energy and encouragement make all the difference, and there’s no better way to start the new year than with a strong home crowd getting behind Camden Town WFC. Come along, cheer us on, and help us take another step towards our goals this season!”
