• THE government has now confirmed it has scrapped its plans to close 150 train station ticket offices across London.

This is a huge victory for TSSA, RMT and ASLEF trade unions and the millions of people who rely on these absolutely essential services to travel on our railways, as well as those who need additional support during their commutes.

The government consultation received more than 750,000 responses thanks to the excellent campaigns of our trade unions and their members, defeating the Tories’ planned cuts.
