• BORIS Johnson has carefully set up the Sue Gray enquiry in his favour, last year he changed the person who decides what to do on the basis of such enquiries from the cabinet secretary to himself, a clear abuse of power.

Therefore he will be able to blame and punish others for the parties and claim, on the legal advice that he has obviously taken, that he was not present / did not know rules were being broken / and thought that those he did attend were “work meetings”.

All preposterous but impossible to disprove according to the letter of the law because his thoughts at the time cannot be known. No wonder all his cronies are saying, “wait for the report”.
