There’s no escape from this lockdown stress
Thursday, 4th February 2021
• LIVING under this third lockdown is so stressful.
Being imprisoned in our homes I am also being subjected to non-essential, noisy, construction work inside my building and outside – a combination of drilling inside the building and jackhammers and chainsaws outside the building.
It is making people suffer from mental health problems, especially since we can’t escape to a more peaceful environment such as a few days in the country.
When I am allowed out for my daily trudge to the shops, I find that as a cash-paying customer I am being discriminated against. Shoppers behind me in the queue are being swept ahead of me to pay by card in the self-serve machines.
It seems the end times are closer than we think.
