MANY of us are partial to a nice packet of crisps along with a pint of beer or glass of wine at the pub. But at Soho’s newest eatery, the humble potato chip has been upgraded from bar snack to entrée.
Hipchips, which opened this week in Old Compton Street, is the latest concept restaurant, where a variety of posh crisps are on the menu, complete with dips ranging from ceviche to salted caramel. Dips include everything from fondue to baba ganoush and there are craft beers and wines to wash it all down.
