‘Boris Johnson must be honest and stop HS2 immediately’

• WHAT A farce.

The eco hypocrisy is astounding, with a cavalcade of 85 oil-guzzling limousines, and 400 private jets just for starters, to supposedly discuss how to combat climate change at Cop26.

But the worst hypocrite of all is the UK prime minister brazenly preaching to the world about climate change, and how we must all grow up, and take responsibility to stop the destruction and deforestation (with a deafening silence coming from him and his billionaire HS2 collaborators) about HS2’s mass deforestation.

Meanwhile, he’s smugly wallowing in the self-glorification of world fame, while at the same time letting humanity down, with himself and his government’s dishonestly ignoring the reality of what effect his cruel actions are having.

And if he truly believes what he’s preaching, Boris Johnson must come out and admit that HS2 is an environmental catastrophe and stop it immediately.

l now fear for his sanity, having witnessed his behaviour and actions. Neither he nor his government is fit to govern us.

If he wants to be believed after all this, he must be honest and stop HS2 immediately, or forever be ridiculed and remembered for effectively copping out of COP26.

What hope can there possibly be for the future of humanity and our irreplaceable planet, when as Greta says, it’s all blah, blah, blah!
