brexit

• FOR too long the UK has held a corrosive, over-inflated, role in foreign affairs at the expense of other states.

Leaving the EU, an economic and political union which serves only to attack democracy, suppress growth in the less developed states, and privatise social services, can only be a good thing.

If the result of the people’s Brexit vote is that our standing in the world is “diminished” before the eyes of Donald Tusk, Tony Blair and Barack Obama, this proud Brexiteer can happily accept that.
