US president Donald Trump’s chopper over Regent’s Park

• RATHER unfortunately the Donald Trump “circus is out of town” (Letters, June 14) will be back sooner than we realise, by the end of the year, for a NATO conference hosted by the UK.

There will be the same racket at the same time, not only via Twitter but over Regent’s Park with the chopper.

There appears to be no end of helicopters going in and out of Winfield House when the presidents are staying there, disturbing everyone’s sleep and sanity while they are here.

And while the president is back in town, is it not about time the US embassy paid up their outstanding congestion charges, now standing at a grand total of £12million. Some say the embassy was moved south the Thames so as not to have to pay the charge.

In the meantime we still have the outstanding amount which would help finance more police on our transport infrastructure. Can we have a lot less noise next time the president is in town?
