The people’s vote was to leave the EU, remember!

• I PICKED up a copy of this week’s New Journal and, like previous issues, it is full of letters by EU “remainers”.
As the country decided two years ago, by a fairly substantial majority in the referendum, to leave the EU, I would have thought the New Journal would have included, as a matter of journalistic balance, their views also.
Camden’s MPs are well known objectors to the democratic decision by the rest of the country to leave the undemocratic and corrupt, power-hungry, organisation and their “appointed” EU commissioners in Brussels.
In fact Sir Keir Starmer is the Labour Brexit spokesperson who has organised several meetings to campaign for the referendum to be held again until they get the result that his side wants, as the EU supporters did in Ireland and elsewhere.
The lack of letters supporting the decision of the referendum makes me suspect that maybe the editor is being intimidated by the Labour hierarchy from including anything that contradicts their views. Come on, publish and be damned.
The last real Labour MP, Tony Benn, was scathing on the EU. See www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQY2CHx4d3U.
