• THE Parliament Square rally (organised by the Board of Deputies of British Jews) against alleged anti-Semitism in the Labour Party was accompanied by a rally of Jewish people who are opposed to false anti-Semitism charges.

I did not do a head-count but the groups seemed to be about the same size. BBC2’s Newsnight covered half of the event: they showed the anti- Jeremy Corbyn group and two MPs leading the charge but managed to totally ignore (that is, not show or mention at all) any of the counter-rally.

Then the presenter conducted an aggressive charge against a Corbyn team member, without mentioning that according to many people (including Jews) the anti-Semitism charge is false. Whatever happened to balanced journalism?
