TEMPERATURES at Number 10 soared to above 52 degrees on Wednesday, as photographer Simon Lamrock’s exclusive heat-sensor picture shows.

But it was not only the current home of Sir Keir Starmer affected.

Homeless tents were recording unbearable temperatures in Tottenham Court Road and the tube and crossings at Oxford Circus were also red hot.

It was 45.5 degrees at The Prince Charles Cinema that had put up a cheeky sign saying “sod the sunshine, is bleak week”.
