The hard left are blindsided by prejudice

• I AM shocked to read your reader’s comment that the “razing of a Palestinian nomad village by the Israelis is a shocking outrage (by no means the first of its kind) and brings shame on Jewish people everywhere, particularly those committed to Israel”, (Will Sir Keir Starmer condemn Israel’s actions?, November 26).

This is not an atypical comment from the hard left who are blindsided by their own prejudice.

Your reader would do well to remind themself of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance statement that holding Jews collectively responsible for the actions of the state of Israel is a form of anti-Semitism.

As a British Jew I am no more associated with Israel than I am with Iran, Saudi Arabia, or the Lebanon, where atrocities have also taken place.
