‘To be Tricycle or not to be Tricycle? That is the question’

• I APPRECIATE the philosophic reminder that change is inevitable and that we should embrace it in the form of the new name for the theatre formerly known as Tricycle (Elvis was never the same after the army ). I’m sure taxpayers celebrate the results of the costly physical improvements to the theatre.

It could be proposed a renowned, beloved & valuable brand name has been swapped for a trite moniker for perhaps reasons which would not pass muster as part of a GCSE course work project. Presumably the trustees have questions to answer regarding the costs of this alteration.

All change is not growth as all movement is not forward. To be Tricycle or not to be Tricycle? That is the question. A luta continua.
