Major delays to the 88 route coming up, which the C2 would have avoided

• ONE of the great things about the C2 bus was it did not pass through Westminster so when other Camden-bound buses had delays or were not running, if you could make it to the Conduit Street stop, or beyond, you could get to Camden.

These are some of things in the last couple of years which have caused major delays to the 88 route – Brexit demo, black cab demo, road works on Whitehall, an unexploded bomb, HS2 and other roadworks on Hampstead Road, police incidents, terrorist incidents at Westminster, New Year’s Eve fireworks, memorial events at the Cenotaph, VIPs at Westminster Abbey, state opening of parliament.
