ARSENAL forward Chloe Kelly insists that she’s “still hungry” for success despite dining out on some pretty large portions last season.
Just nine months ago, Kelly was out of favour at Manchester City and desperate to find her way out of looming obscurity.
A loan move to north London in January changed everything as the striker went on to win the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The 27-year-old also earned an England recall and was pivotal in helping the Lionesses reign at the Women’s Euros this summer.
Having now joined the Gunners on a permanent deal, Kelly is ready to go again – starting this Saturday when Arsenal welcome London City Lionesses to the Emirates in their Women’s Super League opener.
“It’s definitely not hard to get going again,” Kelly told the club’s official website. “I think you just want to go again straight away.
“We have got competitions to win this season that we’re so hungry for, but I think once you taste success, you just want more of it.
“I think for me, I just want to win everything possible. So my eyes are set high this season for this club.”
