Sir Keir Starmer’s Labour appalls me

Sir Keir Starmer
• ON the day that Kabul falls to the Taliban and New Labour’s latest achievement is highlighted, Sir Keir Starmer’s Labour has expelled the former chair of my constituency party, Hampstead & Kilburn.
Pete Firmin, a friend, comrade and socialist, who argued against the invasion and stood in solidarity with all those who opposed Tony Blair’s sponsorship of American terrorism; 45 years a party member.
Pete’s crime was to allow a debate on Jeremy Corbyn’s suspension from the Parliamentary Labour Party.
Sir Keir’s Labour appalls me, and the willingness of my own MP to accept the evisceration of the party makes her wholly complicit. Disgusting. Anger doesn’t cover it.
