‘Sir Keir is blaming anyone but himself’

• I LIVE in Islington but work in one of The West End theatres.

I have always voted Labour in Islington, for Jeremy Corbyn, but Sir Keir Starmer is behaving like a dictator by blaming mayor Sadiq Khan for not winning the by-election in Uxbridge.

I also want to praise Tom Foot for his July 28 report (ULEZ battle: ‘Don’t back down now!’). Labour’s Westminster councillor Max Sullivan is right to urge the Labour Party to stand up and be counted when it comes to clean-air policies.

Two people were responsible for losing the by-election; the Labour candidate Danny Beales for dithering and not committing himself to ULEZ and Sir Keir for blaming anyone but himself.

He has also expelled so many members of the Labour Party with left wing views. Unless the party improve they will never be for the working class again.
