• IN spite of putting up the price on first and second class stamps Royal Mail proved incapable of keeping to the promised selling point for those stamps – 1st class one to two days, 2nd class four days.

Not only have they taken a liberty with our money but they deliberately didn’t deliver letters for weeks in favour of getting parcels out first. Consequently hospital appointments, banking matters, for example, credit and debit cards and PINs were not delivered in time.

Christmas cards were affected too. They all took a back seat with weeks of delay while the Royal Mail flamboyantly broke the Trade Descriptions Act.

The law empowers the judiciary to punish companies who make false claims about the products and services they sell. Have they no shame?

Should we all claim a refund on the stamps we have bought?

Sincerely annoyed!
