• ALL this sexual abuse happening to women and children… I don’t say “take no notice”.

To my knowledge this has happened to my mother over 100 years ago when as a girl she baby-sat for a publican in her street.

I am now 82. It happened to me from when I was eight – by someone who was a soldier in the army, and from then on with two of my employers when I was 15 and 17 years old. I am no beauty. None of this was reported as I was ashamed and knew I would not be believed.

So wonderful this is all now believed, but take care! I can imagine some today may take advantage!
