Restore the train timetable now
Thursday, 17th March 2022
• NATIONAL restrictions have ended, mandatory isolation is over, and we have all been told to get back to work, yet some rail services continue to run a reduced service.
Since January Thameslink trains through West Hampstead have been subject to a “reduced timetable”, with Thameslink stating that this is to “ensure we can run as reliable a service following a period of significant staff absence due to Covid”.
Several morning peak services are still missing from the timetable, leading to increased overcrowding as more people return to work. These cancelled trains have been removed from the timetable so we can not even claim a refund.
Everyone else has returned to work, so too should the train drivers, and a full timetable restored. When will our trains return?
