Do you remember when Boris Johnson fought to get the top job and plied and tempted the electorate into voting for him by, among other things, pretending that if he got it he would cancel High Speed 2?

Then as soon as he got the job he immediately broke his word and restarted the government’s obscene white elephant, HS2!

And by the way, stealing taxpayers’ money to benefit himself and his greedy crony pals – as usual – that he always helps first, before the people who elected him and who are forced to pay for HS2… which incidentally, they can’t afford on top of the feared government cost of living hikes.
