• JANE Clinton’s review of James Woolf’s new novel Indefensible was mouth-watering, (Indefensible! Lawyer James Woolf turns novelist for new thriller, February 22), so I popped round to my local bookshop – an independent in Camden – for a copy.

Never heard of it… Ah yes, print on demand, buy on Amazon. Indefensible.

Please, James, if you get two-thirds of a page in the CNJ, at least ask your publishers to make the book available through, you know, shops!
