• THERE is increasing support for taking the railways, water, mail, and energy companies into public ownership but unlike in the past these industries must be led by working class people who have “come up through the ranks.”

There should be no question of compensation for the previous private owners, who have had their compensation in the form of all the profits they and their shareholders have taken out of these companies in the past.
