Mystery choppers
Copy of letter to Conservative MP for Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken
• IT seems the Metropolitan Police Service’s intentions to be more considerate about helicopter intrusion were insincere, shallow, and short-lived.
It is 12.30am on Wednesday and I have just been woken up by the usual shattering din from a police helicopter. Is there really anything going on that requires this level of intrusion?
Or is it that they simply don’t care about how much they destroy the wellbeing of others? Sleep deprivation is banned under the Geneva Convention. Are the Metropolitan Police Service exempt from this?
