FUN and development is the name of the game for any Under-10s teams playing in a youth football league.

But while league tables aren’t formed nor results recorded, the squad from Camden Elite are finding it easy to keep track of their progress so far this season. Combined, they’ve played five fixtures in the Camden Youth League at Coram’s Fields and the Camden & Islington Youth League at Market Road, and the energetic bunch of ballers have won them all.

“The team has got off to the perfect start,” said Elite’s head coach Sebastian Eurico. “The majority of the players were with me last season as Under-9s; we added a few new faces over the summer, and the squad is gelling together nicely. They are playing some fantastic football.

“It doesn’t really matter that there’s no results or league tables to look at – the players, and some of the parents, still keep track of how well the team is doing. So far the players are making that job easy, because they’ve won all of their games!”
