• THE real reason behind the anti-semitic slur on the Labour Party is that the Blairites within the party don’t want a socialist programme.

When in power they carried on Thatcherite policies. These people should be in the Conservative Party, but there is no room there for the advancement of their careers.

What is happening now is a form of McCarthyism which has anti-Semites under the bed, much in the manner of reds-under-the-bed as of old.

Of course, anti-Semitism is endemic in the United Kingdom and other European countries, and has been for centuries.

But those who do not want socialism, along with the media, have let it off the leash in an effort to destroy what is best about a renewed Labour Party.
