Note the man from Gaza who wants a one-state solution
Thursday, 12th April 2018
• THE good letters in the New Journal and the Westminster Extra about anti-Semitism in the Labour Party seem overshadowed by the April 6 report in the Guardian of the Gaza citizen, Ahmed Abu Artema, in favour not of the fatal two-state solution, but of one democratic, presumably secular, state in which Palestinians and Israelis, Jews and Muslims, Christians and even non-militant Zionists could live side by side.
Admittedly this might seem like a pipe-dream now, just as the foundation of the state of Israel once seemed.
