• NOT everyone in this country wants to go on the internet, pay by card, or even wants an email receipt.

When you phone up any company, even the hospitals, the first thing you hear is “you can go to www.———-uk”.

There are still people who do not want to live their lives on a computer or pay everything by card.

Some of us like to know exactly what money we are spending not wait for a statement showing that we are overdrawn.

And now they want to take the ticket offices away from us, how are we going to find out the best and cheapest way to travel?

Oh! Of course… use the internet… or don’t go anywhere.

Now they all want us to do our shopping and use the self-service and in some places it’s hard to find a cash one.

If you need an application form to apply for anything it’s “we don’t have forms any more, apply on the internet”.

Yes the internet might be marvellous until the system goes down. So please don’t expect everyone to use it or go cashless.
