An artist’s vision of how bustling Oxford Circus piazzas could look

• WESTMINSTER City Council’s decision to delay the piazza development of Oxford Circus was forced upon them by the exposure of the unanimous incompetence over the Marble Arch Mound.

How anybody could consider an income return from merchandise, souvenirs, and so on, of such a shoddy enterprise must raise questions about their business sense – or lack of it.

The circus piazza project is “on hold” so beware of another, unscrutinised, vanity project in the near
future.
