A very moving moment in the middle of the chaos

• MY husband and I took our young son to Buckingham Palace to lay flowers and pay our respects.

There was a huge queue to lay flowers at the gate, a queue too long for a four-year-old.

Somebody then captures the moment, a very kind and caring police officer offered to take my son up to the gate to put down his flowers, after seeing his disappointment.

A very moving moment in the middle of the chaos, and a time to praise the police (after all the negatives we hear).

Also the picture (above) was captured, and shared with me, by a fellow member of the public! A moment he also believed was very special. Nice happenings on a sad day.
