May we not have the comfort of a sausage roll?

A West End mega Greggs has been banned from selling late-night sausage rolls
• WHAT to make of a once great city that strains at a sausage roll and swallows an ocean of booze?
Anyone who hoped that liberating the licensing laws would bring a glamorous night-life to London where the likes of Astaire and Rogers, Josephine Baker and Miles Davis would entertain us was soon disillusioned.
Surely the entry of a Greggs bakery would have a calming influence on the West End of boozing and disorder, (‘Half-baked’ – verdict on plan for new mega Greggs in square, August 5).
May not a man have the comfort of a sausage roll even if he is… especially if he is… inebriated?
