While we wait for Little Angel to reopen its doors, their latest online offering is Metta Theatre’s short film, The Little Prince, which reimagines Antoine de Saint Exupéry’s beloved tale through the medium of shadow puppetry. A Second World War pilot has crashed in the middle of the Sahara. If she doesn’t find water soon she’ll die. Instead she finds a mysterious child – the Little Prince – whose imaginative adventures and tales of far-off planets quench a deeper thirst. Available free for one year on Little Angel’s YouTube channel. Bookings are now open for Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s The Smartest Giant in Town, adapted by Barb Jungr and Samantha Lane, from May 28. Visit: littleangeltheatre.com

Lucinda Coxon’s acclaimed play, Herding Cats, will run from May 19-22 at 7.30pm (+ 11pm Fri/Sat) Meeting the demands of modern life is as impossible as herding cats for Justine, Michael and Saddo.
