GILLIAN Duffy’s comedy-drama The Ghosting of Rabbie Burns covers love, dating, breakups and ghosting. Heartbroken author Emily Winters retreats to her aunt’s cottage in Scotland to get over her cheating ex. As she celebrates Burns night alone the ghost of Rabbie Burns appears to give her some dating advice. Elsie Yager’s IPHIGENIA; or, the sacrifices of a young woman in nine movements at The Hope Theatre tells the tragic tale of a young girl’s demise and the mother who allows it to happen. Iphigenia is a regular teenage girl on the verge of becoming a woman. Bursting with desires, fears and dreams, she’s about to be slaughtered as a sacrifice to the gods.
