A MULTIMEDIA performance, Please Leave (a message) at Camden People’s Theatre responds to the warnings of our past, the messages we are sending to our future, and those that never reached us. ClusterFlux, a group of scientists, geologists, spacemen, karaoke superstars and linguistic experts attempt to communicate a danger. It’s in a particular location and of a particular size and shape. 9pm, Jan 28-29; 7pm Jan 30. cptheatre.co.uk

The Sea Between, Etcetera Theatre, melds kitchen sink drama and Greek tragedy. When Ginny and Mike meet there are fireworks. She is a passionate, foreign artist, he is a gregarious Brit lawyer. What does it mean to be a sibling to someone who is autistic? Hannah is a young girl growing up in Blackpool with her parents and two brothers. Ben lets Hannah in his room, they play spies together, and, sometimes, he even gives her a hug. But with Joshua it’s as though he speaks a different language. Based on Rachel Hammond’s own life, Joshua (and me) at The Hope Theatre, explores growing up in a house where, however loved you are, your needs are not always your family’s first concern. • Do support Park Theatre’s Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 2, a special fundraiser written by Jez Bond and Mark Cameron with a mystery guest in the starring role every show. Almost 40 celebrities will grace the Park200 stage – completely unrehearsed – to play the Inspector in a farcical whodunnit. Each night will see a different actor, presenter, musician or comedian having their lines fed to them via an earpiece as they attempt to crack the case of a stolen diamond. The lineup includes Simon Callow, Ian McKellen, Mark Gatiss and Emma Thompson. Who will perform on any given night is a closely guarded secret and will only be revealed when the curtain goes up.  Feb 9-Mar 12. parktheatre.co.uk
