INSPIRED by Joseph Coelho’s book, Overheard in a Tower Block is a coming-of-age drama. With themes of family, friendship, courage and self-discovery, it’s about finding your way in a world that doesn’t always make sense. Ages 7+. Krafty the Urban Fox – Tales from the Tower celebrates friendship and finding beauty in unexpected places. Under the glow of streetlights, Krafty sets out on a night-time adventure. He scavenges for snacks with Whiskers the cat, grooves with Hoot the Owl, darts through the air with Bertie the Bat and shares a moment with Spike the hedgehog. When a Jane Austen heroine, unlucky in love, finds herself thrown into the modern world of dating, she must set aside her expectations to brave this new world of courtship. But the unsolicited pictures and lack of chivalry may be all too much! Will she take charge of her own story and find love or retreat back into the safety of her pages? In Martin Crimp’s radical play, Attempts on her Life, a woman with various identities links 17 theatrical scenarios: she is the heroine of a film in one, a victim of civil war in another, an international terrorist, a porn star, and the subject of a conversation among friends.
