Please, Feel Free to Share is at the Pleasance Downstairs

DICKSON Mbi summons multiple identities in a solo performance inspired by a journey to his ancestral home in Cameroon. The symbolic presence of a two-headed snake, a tiger’s roar during a funeral ritual, the touch of a blind elder… These encounters profoundly affected the London choreographer during a trip to his family’s village. Enowate, meaning “truth stands”, draws on sinuous elements of hip-hop and contemporary dance in combination with original music and otherworldly animated projections. Going Deutsch is at Camden People’s Theatre from Oct 14-15 at 9pm. Should you ever go back to someone (or something) that almost destroyed you? What if they say they’ve changed? What if they’re offering an EU passport? Following a bereavement, Brexit and a bad break-up, Anna decides to make some changes. When Anna suggested calling up her ex, her friends were appalled, and her family felt the same way when she jumped into bed with Germany. cptheatre.co.uk

• Scatterjam’s Please, Feel Free to Share, a darkly comic one-woman show about addiction, is at the Pleasance Downstairs from Oct-17-21. Alex is a social success. Her Instagram boasts a montage of members-only rooftops and clinking glasses. When her father dies, Alex reluctantly joins a bereavement group. She shares a little, and then lies… a lot. pleasance.co.uk

When drag artist Becky Biro is told they need a larger following to be considered for an international TV hit, Becky can smell success and will do whatever it takes to reap the rewards of stardom. Fame Whore by Tom Ratcliffe, performed by Gigi Zahir, holds a mirror up to our desperate desire for relevance, the lengths we go to get there, and how we hold someone to account for their misguided actions. King’s Head Theatre, until Oct 29. kingsheadtheatre.com

A Gig for Ghosts by Fran Bushe at Soho Theatre, with original live music by Becky CJ, is a queer love story, about loss, loneliness and ghosts. Set in London, where it is too easy for things and people to be lost and forgotten, three women come together, to make sure that nobody falls through the cracks. Oct 18-Nov 12. sohotheatre.com

King Hamlin by Gloria Williams is at Park90 from Oct 19-Nov 12. Hamlin, Quinn and Nic are young friends trying to get ahead in inner city London. After his dad dies, Hamlin aims to finish school, get a good job, and build a better life for himself and his mum. When live-wire Quinn and troubled Nic offer Hamlin easy money in return for some county line drug trafficking, his dreams, his mother’s hopes and their friendship are put to the test. Will Hamlin stand his ground or end up on the wrong side of the tracks? parktheatre.co.uk
