• Dean Stalham’s So Help Me Dog at the Hen and Chickens immerses the audience in a courtroom drama. Diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexic, Danny Franks left school aged 14 with no formal qualifications. In 2004, he is facing trial for possession of 6 million pounds worth of contemporary art. A collection the upper echelons of society says, he, has no right to have. • In Tommy Sissons’ Silenced Houses, Cecily and Ralph dream of starting a family as they deal with the cost-of-living crisis. Cecily is torn between the reality of their financial situation and her desire to become a ballet dancer, while Ralph struggles to find any legal routes to earn money. June 11-15. • Surrender by Sophie Swithinbank, in creative partnership with Phoebe Ladenburg, looks at the UK’s system of social care. Mother is in prison. Daughter – from whom she has been estranged for 13 years – has come to visit. Medea Gosperia at the Cockpit
