Camden People’s Theatre is back with a selection of shows to choose from including But What If You Die?, a solo show, merging gig, memoir and lecture, by Adam Lenson about what you learn when faced with your mortality. A work in progress, 9pm June 25-26. • Testimony, a festival of 18 award-winning monologues about love, hate, death and revenge will be at the Hen and Chickens Theatre from June 30 in nine double bills. The average length of each double bill is 70 minutes. It opens with Trivial Dispute, about self-made millionaire Trevor, committed Tory and card carrying Brexiteer, who finds himself at odds with a retired academic, the cosmopolitan and liberal-minded Ewan. And Call Back: Ismail has discovered how to send text messages backwards in time. Holed up in her bedroom, Cleo has aired 22 WhatsApps from Kara and has cut off contact with the rest of the world. It doesn’t mean she’s been silent though – she’s got a lot to say. When Tom grows up he wants to be an astronaut… But when he has his first seizure, aged 8, and a black hole opens up inside his head, his entire world is swallowed and he must find an even bigger adventure.
