• I COULDN’T agree more with regulating Airbnb landlords. I would like to see all of them licensed with the money raised going to councils to fund a scheme offering grants to households with unused rooms in the form of vouchers to renovate / equip these spare rooms.

This could help ease the shortage of housing for the increasing number of people who now find themselves single and only need a room in a shared household.

A number of boroughs have already introduced licensing for property owners but I have no knowledge of what happens to the money this brings in.
