• THE idea the current EU system is more democratic than what happened in the UK last week is absurd, as the current government will have to go to the polls unlike Ursula Von Der Leyen and the rest of the commission.

The only reason they will not permit an election is the majority in Europe do not want a federal Europe and it would be rejected in a poll. Let us have a commonwealth of Europe instead of outdated, redundant, federalism.
