Let’s have the Luxborough Street play area back for play
Thursday, 22nd October 2020
• I READ with interest and dismay the front page article, (Play space loses out: Politicians defy 800 petitioners, priest and their own agreed policy, October 16).
With London moving to tier 2 pandemic rules it seems shockingly negligent and callous of city council to deny the community, especially its youth, this vital space for kicking a ball.
Since the plan to build on Luxborough Street, Marylebone, open space is going to be delayed by appeal from the Diocese of London, the council should refurbish and reopen it as soon as possible for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis.
