Labour has history with goings on at meetings!

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer
• PLAUDITS were heaped on the leader of the Labour Party for being “decisive” when he learnt of comments allegedly made by Rupa Huq MP at a fringe meeting during the party conference.
All of which begs the question why nobody at the meeting felt concern enough to alert him and the national executive committee.
Most if not all were party members and included the party chair; yet the offending comment only became known when leaked to a website.
If this is the case shouldn’t the leader initiate an investigation into acquiescence by those in attendance? Bit of guilt by association possibly? Hear no evil? A nod is as good as a wink? Nobody reported it because nobody was listening?
The party does have previous for not being fully clued into the goings on at meetings. Time for some Keireoke, “I’ve got to leave old Durham Town”?
